VINCI System video
surveillance products can be integrated with other
security products to significantly enhance the overall
security environment of public and private campuses.
Basic Digital Recording. Existing
CCTV cameras can be attached to the VINCI System
to permit digital recording secured areas. Privacy
issues may be addressed through appropriate signage.
Alarms Based on Motion Detection. The VINCI
System can be configured to execute a more sophisticated
response should a person enter restricted areas
such as mechanical or storage rooms or roof areas
without respecting access procedures. VINCI System
products can automatically send the alarm-triggering
images to onsite or offsite security personnel,
who can then use the same cameras to observe and
evaluate the situation.
Increase Parking Lot Safety. VINCI
System products can measure speed and can trigger
alarm events based on excessive speed. That permits
Administration the ability to detect parking lot
speeders and provide them with date and time-stamped
images of themselves together with the speed at
which they were driving. This can be a powerful
tool in increasing parking lot safety.
Alarms Based on the Absence of Motion. The VINCI
System can detect - and alert security personnel
to - the presence of an object which appears and
stays without movement. This can have importance
in detecting terrorist actions.
Night and
Weekend Configurations. The VINCI System
can automatically shift to a night and/or weekend
configuration, providing security and administrative
personnel with realtime information regarding improper
property use.
Large Campus Environments. Over
a thousand 256-camera VINCI Systems can be integrated
campuswide, and the entire system can be simultaneously
recorded and monitored externally from a single
location (and from anywhere in the world) using
either an Internet connection or any other communication
link.
Security Backup. If security personnel
do not respond to an alarm within a pre-set time
(say 10 seconds), the VINCI System can be configured
to direct the alarm notification to a second (and
even third) security monitoring station.
Non-Video
Inputs. Each VINCI system accepts signal
from up to 32 external devices (such as glass break
and door opening sensors) which can be also trigger
automatically digital video recording.
