of Fresh Air Intakes.
Pre-VINCI
Solution
i.
Management hires security guards to watch the air
intakes 24/7, despite the huge increase in operating
expenses.
ii. When terrorists arrive to
spread anthrax spores, sarin or other deadly contaminant
through your property using your HVAC system, your
security guard will almost certainly be overwhelmed
by better armed opponents who have surprise and
numbers on their side.
iii. Contaminants introduced through
your air duct are within minutes distributed by
your HVAC system throughout your building.
VINCI Solution
i.
Install a VINCI System for far less than the annual
cost of even one guard.
ii. Monitor each air intake and
set parameters so that when anyone approaches within
(say) 50 feet of an air intake, instantly and automatically:
(1) A
fire damper slams shut, isolating the system from
contaminants,
(2) Any
associated air handlers shut down, preventing contamination
through the HVAC system,
(3) Security
managers are alerted and provided with live video.
If the triggering event was benign, they can restart
the AHU’s. If it was terrorists, their attack
was thwarted and their images are being transmitted
to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.
iii. Have enough capacity left
over to monitor the parking lot, all building entrances,
and the elevator lobby.

within a pre-set time (say 10 seconds), the VINCI
System will (if so configured) direct the alarm
notification to a second (and even third) security

live video when events occur, so officers know what

signage (which may itself improve public safety
in certain cases).

VINCI System’s ability to automatically destroy
all images after a certain time period (say 30 days)
except for images specifically saved by authorized
personnel pursuant to guidelines.
Instantly Respond To Critical Situations.
Should a person enter restricted areas, VINCI System
products can automatically and instantly trigger
banks of lights and/or locks, or pre-recorded warnings,
or anything else (up to 32 devices).
Deliver
Realtime Alerts. VINCI System products
can automatically send alarm-triggering images (along
with specific instructions to permit standardization
of response) to onsite or offsite personnel, who
can then use the same cameras to observe and evaluate
the situation.
Scalability.
Over a thousand 256-camera VINCI Systems can be
integrated. The entire system can be simultaneously
recorded and - using VINCI’s strong encryption
algorithms - securely monitored from one or more
command sites located anywhere in the world.
